Professional Summary
Dr. Kevin Scott serves as Senior Academic Writing Consultant in the Research and Writing Development Center (RWDC) within the EdD in Learning and Organizational Change program and also as an Associate Graduate Faculty at Baylor University. Dr. Scott brings a lifelong love of reading, research, and writing to his role.
Dr. Scott received his Ph.D. from Baylor University's Department of Religion, where he specialized in the prophetic literature of the Hebrew Bible. He has presented research at national conferences in Boston, Denver, San Antonio, and San Diego. Dr. Scott has also published research with Brill and the Catholic Biblical Association of America. Dr. Scott completed his B.A. in Religious Studies and Political Science at the University of North Carolina and his M.A. in Religion at Wake Forest University.
In his spare time, he enjoys teaching courses in biblical studies at Baylor University, traveling, and annoying his cat, Rupert.
Dr. Scott is also an affiliate faculty member of the Baylor Center for Developmental Disabilities.
