Julia Collier Earl, Ph.D.
Lecturer
Dr. Julia Collier Earl teaches in the Baylor Ed.D. Online program in the School of Education. She has worked in all aspects of education from being a classroom teacher to district superintendent. Her proven educational leadership includes districts in Louisiana, Texas, New Hampshire, and Wyoming in urban and suburban settings. In addition, she has worked extensively as a consultant and presenter in the U.S. and internationally. Most recently, she has worked with schools in the Department of Defense Education Agency.
Dr. Earl holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University, as well as a master of arts in English and a bachelor of arts in education from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
She is known as a visionary, yet practical, educational leader who focuses on putting the best teachers in every classroom and the best leaders in every setting. Dr. Earl is passionate about developing innovative, engaging, and collaborative 21st century learning communities. Her deep knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and leadership, and organizational development supports her work with learning leaders.
